Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar Jha is Professor & Head, Department of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, School of Allied Health Sciences, SGT University (NAAC A+ Grade), Gurugram, Haryana, India. With 18 years of academic and clinical experience, he holds a B.S.L.H.S. (2006) from Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai; M.A.S.L.P. (2008–2010) from Osmania University, Hyderabad; Ph.D. in Audiology (2017–2021) from SGT University, Gurugram; M.A. in Clinical Psychology (2021–2023) from New Delhi; and is currently pursuing an M.B.A. (2025–2027) from SGT University, Gurugram. He has published 65 research papers in Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, UGC and other indexed journals, 08 books, and 35 health magazine articles, and has participated in 98 conferences, workshops, seminars and faculty development programs. His academic and research contributions also include 05 patents filed and published, 06 projects undertaken, and editorial board membership of 12 indexed journals. He is a registered Audiologist & Speech-Language Pathologist with the Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR No. A-20900) and is a life member of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA), DISHA, and TASLPA. He has also served as a Visiting Expert of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) since 2011. In addition to his academic and professional contributions, Prof. Jha has been actively involved in community outreach, conducting 200+ health camps, delivering 35 rehabilitation awareness programs and lectures, providing community-based rehabilitation services across several villages in Haryana, and participating in 05 industry visits and professional service activities. He has also received 02 state-level awards for his contributions to the field of disability and rehabilitation.
